Hell Yeah, I Can Do That
No experience needed. No scary solo deep-end moments. You show up, join a team, get shown the ropes — and leave feeling like you belong to something real. Because you do.
On the Ground
In the Action
You're not watching from behind the fence. You're on course, flagging vehicles, managing stages, up close with the machines and the moments that make this sport unforgettable.
Safety & Fairness
You Make It Happen
Marshals keep the racing safe and fair. When something goes sideways — and it does — you're the calm head that holds it together. You're trained for it. You're never alone.

Give Back
You Make the Race
Without marshals, there is no event. Full stop. You are the sport.
Our marshals are the lifeblood of this sport. They're in the rain, in the mud, managing rollovers in the middle of nowhere — and they wouldn't have it any other way. They're not just volunteers. They're the heart of the CCDA.

Long Course Events
Places You'd Never See Otherwise
Help marshal a long course winch challenge and you'll see parts of Australia that most people only dream about — remote station properties east of Broken Hill, under skies so full of stars it stops you in your tracks.
Days in the outback with a crew of passionate people. Properties that are never open to the public. Terrain that has to be seen to be believed. It's not just marshalling. It's a proper adventure.
