New Vehicle/Log Book Application

1. Have the ROPS manufacturer complete the ROPS Certification Form.
2. Complete the Annual Inspection Competitor Checklist to ensure your vehicle is ready.
3. Present the vehicle to a CCDA Scrutineer for inspection. They will complete the Annual Scrutineering Form online with photos.
4. Complete the Logbook Application Form online, including images of your ROPS certificate, and submit.
5. The Logbook Manager will check the application and approve. A ROPS Sticker will be issued.
6. The label shall be affixed to the roll cage, in clear view for scrutineering inspection.
7. The Logbook Manager will create your logbook under your membership.

NOTE: You cannot scrutineer your own vehicle.

Annual Scrutineering (Existing Logbooked Vehicle)

1. Complete the Annual Inspection Competitor Self-Checklist and ensure your vehicle meets all requirements.
2. Take the completed checklist and your vehicle to an approved CCDA Scrutineer.
3. The Scrutineer will complete the Online Annual Scrutineering Form.
4. If the vehicle passes, the Logbook Manager will update the Date Last Scrutineered and Scrutineer Name in the online logbook.

To view your logbook: log in to the website → drop down the menu under your name → select My Membership → select Membership Details.

NOTE: You cannot scrutineer your own vehicle.

Event Scrutineering

1. MUST: Complete the Competitor Self-Checklist for the relevant class prior to the event.
2. MUST: Bring the completed self-checklist to the Event Scrutineer (or pre-event scrutineering).
3. The Event Scrutineer will complete the Online Event Scrutineering Form and advise the outcome:
   • Pass – the vehicle is cleared to race.
   • Fail – rectifications required will be detailed. The vehicle cannot race until all rectifications have been completed and re-inspected.
   • Minor Issues – issues that do not prevent racing will be noted on the scrutineering form and updated in the logbook by the Logbook Manager.

NOTE: The self-checklist is mandatory — competitors without a completed checklist may not be scrutineered.
